Description

Odem Mountain, Reserve, Syrah: Dark purple, with on the nose sweet spices, ripe blackberries, blueberries, toasted oak, leather, and cigar tobacco. Full-bodied and ripe, with on the palate very ripe blackberries, blueberries, Mediterranean herbs, tar, caramel, chocolate-covered cherries, and pipe tobacco showing with medium acidity and somewhat rough, nearly sweet tannins on the long finish. Very extracted and rich wine, and also a little rustic.
