The best of Burgundy’s terroirs is well worth it. This Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru from Fonteny leads with a pronounced nose of dense fruit, smoke, cedar, licorice, bramble and roasted meat. The aromas follow through on the palate with floral hints. This full bodied wine is suitable for aging and will improve with proper cellaring.
