The Maison Aegerter, located in Nuit-Saint-Georges, Côte-d’Or, is thriving in a region known for both its traditions and its innovations. The Aegerters believe that nature cannot be hurried. All the vintages, from the most accessible to the most exceptional, have one thing in common: they are the outcome of a resolutely modern vision and dynamic. The best of Burgundy’s terroirs is well worth it. On the nose this Beaune Premier Cru displays sweet pomegranate, dark plum, cedar and teritary aromas of smoke, roasted herbs and meat. This full bodied wine is powerful and structured with notes of berries and candied plum, the high acitidy and rich tannins carry through on the long finish. Suitable for aging this wine will improve with proper cellaring.
