Wine has garnet, clear appearance and smells of warm cherry pie garnished with cool wintergreen sprigs. There is a powerful mid-palate highlighted by flavors of sweet tobacco and clove with fresh hazelnut in the soft finish.

Based from ripe zinfandel fruit from California‚Äôs warm Lodi region, the wine is tempered by Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot from the cooler Lake County AVA. 60% Zinfandel, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Petit Verdot
|Twenty-one day fermentation in tank with pumping over twice a day, and press wine blended back into free-run wine. Full malolactic fermentation. Gravity pumped into a combination of two-year-old French and American barrels for 10 months aging.
