Winemaker's Notes: NOT MEVUSHAL "Pinot Noir is a gentle and elegant variety that combines aromatic flavors with refinement. This wine carries substantial aromas of ripe berries, cherries, plums and mocha coffee beans, which have been aged in French oak barrels. A velvety texture provides a perfect balance between nose and palate. You can enjoy this wine by itself or as an accompaniment to an elegant meal. Growing Region: These Pinot Noir grapes are grown in two vineyards in the Gush Etzion region, situated at an elevation of 1,000 meters above sea level. This region was found to be especially suited to the cultivation of this unique variety, due to its extremely cold and snowy winters. Its western-faced, open land with late afternoon winds, allows for a late harvest season, spanning from the middle until the end of October. One can find many wild herbs growing in the surrounding black soil, exuding the pleasant fragrances of mint and hyssop. " –Winery.
