Inspired by Bordeaux's classic red blends, Teperberg Meritage (pronounced MEHR-uh-tidge) combines Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc that is a true expression of the terroir that defines Israel's Judean Hills. A deep brick red, the wine offers up aromas of raspberry and black cherry, coupled with a hint of coffee. The flavors reveal more dark fruit and classy integrated oak flavors including vanilla and toast. Teperberg Meritage is a wine with serious aging potential that belongs in any aficionado's cellar. Pairs amazingly with rich roasted chicken or lamb shank, as well as fine hard cheeses.
